Congratulations to the Irish Women's Soccer Team as they made history in Hampden Park during the week by qualifying for their first ever major tournament following the World Cup Qualifying Play-Off win over Scotland.

As you know Ballinhassig AFC are committed to increasing girls participation at our club. We have girls playing in our Academy and competing in the Cork Women and Schoolgirls Soccer Leagues Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14. Next summer we will have a women's team competing in the CWSSL.

To strengthen our ambition we are delighted to welcome Cork City Womens manager Danny Murphy (West Ham, QPR, Shamrock Rovers, Cork City player) to Gortnaglough on Monday 17th October at 6pm.

Danny, along with some of the Cork City Womens team will host a training session with our girls squads. We are hoping all current and aspiring players will be able to attend. The session is open to all girls - even if you are not currently a member, everyone is welcome.
