We are delighted to announce that Saturday 18th July will be a very special day for our club as we officially celebrate the opening of the Ballinhassig AFC Astro Facility at Gortnaglough Community Park.  The new pitch is a huge success for the current committee, coaches and members, but it is only possible because of the hard work and dedication of those who came before us. Without generations of volunteers building the club over the past 45 years, we wouldn't be hosting this Celebration Day or welcoming an Ireland v England international to Ballinhassig. That's why this day is about celebrating everyone who has helped make the club what it is today.

Everyone is welcome, the day promises to be a fantastic celebration of football and will include:

⚽ Women's Social Soccer Blitz 12:30pm
⭐ Club Legends Match 1:15pm
🎀 Official Opening of the Astro Facility 2:45pm
⚽ Ireland v England Amputee International kick off 3pm - 4:15pm
🥇 2025/26 Club Medal & Award Presentations at half time
☕ Coffee Truck available throughout the day
