Another great evening for the club as our U13A Boys lifted the Jerry Hurley Cup following a fantastic victory over Pearse Celtic in Midleton last night.
The lads produced another excellent performance in what was a highly competitive and entertaining final. Players, coaches and supporters alike certainly had heart rates racing as the game went all the way to a sudden-death penalty shootout. The boys showed tremendous determination, character and teamwork to come through and bring the trophy back to Gortnaglough.
Congratulations to all of the players on a brilliant achievement and a memorable night for the team. A special word of congratulations to coaches Peter, James and Barry, and to everyone who helped and supported the squad throughout the season.
The boys have worked hard all year and thoroughly deserve their success. Well done lads - enjoy the celebrations and enjoy your summer!
