As a club we have long recognised that some people or communities in our catchment area (and beyond) start from a disadvantaged position and may need assistance to access all the opportunities that exist in football and other sporting activities. We have seen some children (and adults) struggle to excel in the competitive environments of underage and adult football.

In an effort to offer some additional support to these individuals and with a view to attaining good utilisation of our new initiative #LetsGoAstro Ballinhassig AFC have formalised some loose agreements we had in the past with a number of clubs. We are delighted to share that we have agreed for the use of our propose new facility with Goggins Hill National School, Ballyheada National School, Cork Women and Schoolgirls Soccer League, Cork City Amputees, Run2Become, Run2Become Teens, Ballinhassig Village Community Association, Old Abbey Athletic Club, Ballinhassig Ladies Football... and more to come.

With this in mind we are looking for some volunteers, parents, guardians or anyone interested to help the club extend this program, and to share some ideas with our current Football For All co-ordinators Marie O'Leary and Angela Veale.
