On behalf of Ballinhassig AFC Committee, I would like to wish all our members and supporters a very Happy Christmas. With over 20 teams in the club there are just too many names to mention here, but for sure we hold a huge debt of gratitude to all the volunteers who keep our club ticking over.

In particular, a massive thanks to all the academy, schoolboys, youths and adult coaches, who give so much of their free time to ensure your kids enjoy developing their football skills and maybe in a small way help nurture some social skills for their future

To the facility volunteers who keep Gortnaglough in tip top condition - a massive thank you, this is un-seen work that we should never underestimate. The effort it takes to get the pitches and training areas ready each week doesn't go un-noticed

To all our players - the girls, boys, women and men - thank you for representing our club with such pride, passion, and respect. The future of our club is for you

To our supporters, parents, guardians, grandparents.. - thank you for encouraging your kids to come join us and for bringing them to training and matches. They'll eventually thank you for it

To all our sponsors, and to everyone who supported our fund-raising initiatives this year we thank you so much. You have helped keep the club going and this year put the club in a sounder financial position. Hopefully it allows us to go after some bigger ambitions in 2023

To our club committee who do untold amounts of work behind the scenes to keep the club going, I want to personally thank you for all your help and in particular your time again this year. It's unseen, but I know the club wouldn't exist without such a strong committee - thank you again.

Finally, as you know we lost some old club members this year with the untimely passing of Billy O'Brien and TJ Reardon recently - we would once again like to re-iterate our condolences to all of Billy and TJ's family and friends. RIP Billy and TJ.
