Join Us for our End-of-Season Family Fun Day at Gortnaglough!
If you've been to Gortnaglough recently, you may have noticed a flurry of activity. Volunteers have been hard at work with shovels, power hoses, paintbrushes, strimmers, chainsaws, and scrubbing brushes, all dedicated to sprucing up our facilities. A massive thank you to everyone who generously donated their time and effort over the past few weeks. Your hard work has paid off, and the Gortnaglough facility looks fantastic for this year's End-of-Season Family Fun Day!
Car Parking: Please park on the large training pitch and follow the attendants' directions. To avoid congestion and ensure safety during the school walk, no cars should be parked on the road
Fun, Games and Medals: Coaches will organize fun games and medal presentations for each age group. Remember,
Sensory Room: This year we are delighted to have a quite area set aside in one of our Dressing Rooms with baby changing facilities

- 1:00pm - 5pm Bouncy castles and DJ
- 1:30pm - 2:00pm Sponsored walk from the clubhouse to help cover the remaining costs of professional coaching at Goggins Hill, Ballinora, and Ballhead National Schools
- 2:00pm - 2:30pm Ice cream truck
- 2:30pm - 4:00pm Face painting
- 3:45pm BIG photoshoot for #LetsGoAstro campaign (don't forget wear your club gear)
Special Guests:
We are thrilled to announce that this year, we have some distinguished guests attending our event. Minister for Finance Michael McGrath, along with Christopher O'Sullivan TD and Councillors Gillian Coughlan, Seamus McGrath, and Ben Dalton, will be joining us. We are also excited to host Thomas Byrne, Minister of State for Sport, at Gortnaglough on Friday evening. These visits provide us with an excellent opportunity to showcase our facilities and garner support for our #LetsGoAstro Capital Sports Grant Application.
