We are thrilled to share some fantastic news with all of you who have been a part of our incredible journey so far. We have achieved a significant milestone in our fundraising efforts for the development of an all-weather pitch at Gortnaglough Community Park.

We have now raised an impressive €256,000 through our successful fundraising events and the unwavering support from our communities, local businesses, and sponsorships. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the passion and commitment of everyone involved with Ballinhassig AFC.

It's important to note that the funds collected are specifically earmarked for the development of the all-weather pitch and are securely locked away in a separate bank account for this purpose. We want to reassure our community that these funds will be dedicated solely to the enhancement of Gortnaglough Community Park and will not be used for the day-to-day running of our soccer club.

This milestone is not just a financial achievement but also a symbol of the unity and determination that define Ballinhassig AFC. The all-weather pitch at Gortnaglough Community Park will not only benefit our club but will also become a valuable asset for the entire community, providing a state-of-the-art facility for sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.

We are currently planning our next fundraising event, which when added to local and international sponsors it means we are hugely confident of hitting our next milestone - €400,000 self funding by springtime 2024.

However, our primary focus at this moment is to ensure the success of our €200,000 submission for Capital Sports Grant funding. This grant is pivotal to our plans and will substantially contribute to guaranteeing the overall success of our project.
